My name is Dustin and photography is my jam! My style has a happy candid vibe that’s bursting with color. I am attracted to vibrant esthetics. Mustard Yellow, Beach House Blue, Pastel Pink, Sea Foam Green, and a bold red-orange are some of my favorites.

Photographing every detail on your wedding day or capturing your sass during a senior photoshoot is my expertise.

I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.

Where the magic of becoming a photographer began

I’m from Oklahoma where I graduated with a Fine Arts Degree and planned on becoming a world famous painter! My degree included photography, graphic design and even a marketing internship, but I never actually planned on being a photographer.

I purchased my first camera, the canon rebel t3i to take pictures of jewelry I was making for my Etsy shop. Then flash forward to a couple of years ago I became in charge of the yearbook while getting a very awesome unexpected teaching job. I needed lots of pictures to fill up the yearbook so I brought my camera in and used the knowledge I learned in college and got more attention than I anticipated.

Very shortly after that I started getting asked to take Senior portraits, Weddings, babies, families, and even real estate. Maybe one day I will still become a world famous painter, but for now I’m very happy applying my artsy skills to photography.

December 19, 2019 will mark ten years of marriage for Michael and I. We are both from Oklahoma and met in college. We were so young and just dove right into a life together and I’m so glad we did. In a world of digital versions of ourselves we sometimes only see and showcase the pretty parts. Marriage is work, love is a choice and Jesus is always the answer. It’s been our faith in Christ that has kept us on a truly blessed path.
